The concept:
A “mini-accelerator” evening where you focus on developing, refining and challenging your business concept.
Specifically designed for entrepreneurs with a business idea defined, even running, and want to get to the next level now.
The process:
Two 45 minute sessions with Pierre Waters, President of Guiripreneurs, ex-strategy consultant at Accenture, winner of StartupWeekend Madrid 2012, & founder of Moving2Madrid.
Session 1: Business Model Lean Canvas. The goal is to review the canvas and really understand the underlying hypothesis. Also, we will add two parts that are so often forgotten: identifying the riskiest part of the model and linking it to your personal preferences.
The outputs:
- A reviewed canvas with prioritized assumptions, data, key metrics and a customer acquisition process
- A roadmap to test this canvas and make these assumptions reality
Beyond an intense, but highly motivating evening – you will receive a documented summary of the evenings events, a pdf of your new business model canvas and a set of actions to which you have committed that is going to lead you to the next stage of your venture.
What we require on your part:
Guiripreneurs was created with a vision: be the community to enable all kinds of international entrepreneurs to reach the next level. Not only the facebook inspired, but also the freelancer, the restaurant owner, the solo dreamer !
We had been asked to give even more and create 1-on-1 sessions, so we can help you focus and get results. That’s what we organized.
But rather than charging a small fee for a very valuable session, we decided to continue our own way: Keep everything open.
Therefore, this first event will be open to all, and you will be asked to donate whatever you think is the value of what you got.
We’re very proud of continuing to push guiripreneurs towards our vision, challenging pretty much all status quos we face !
Therefore, like wikipedia or a NGO, you will receive a link so you can donate whatever you want for this session.
We recommend 30 € for the time and value given: one-to-one sessions with consultants and entrepreneurs who have been where you are now, and will prepare the session and make sure you’re ready to get all the value from it.
The donations will go to our non-lucrative association, to cover our main costs for this and beyond: web-related (events platform, app – download it!, web hosting…), event-related (room sponsors, snacks, drinks…) and extra time on top of basic organization for these events (nominal participation to cover costs they have and basic preparation).
As the members asked for, and we will always keep also the free group sessions.
This is to make sure Guiripreneurs stays independent and with ever better services, and the ones you ask for. It will include snacks and refreshments.
In addition, you will be required to complete a certain amount of “homework” in preparation for the session.
Once you are confirmed for the accelerator session, we will contact you to prepare it. We will also confirm the venue and all the details directly to you.
